Monthly Costs

To be an independently managed branch of MortgageStar and gain all of the advantages you will pay a corporate overhead fee to home office of $500 per month and $500 for each loan closed. In addition, you will have branch expenses for credit reports, fraud checks and employer matching taxes.

Want to pay less, then do the following:

 1)         Close 5 or more loans in the month then the $500 per month corporate overhead fee is waived.

 2)         Use our company owned title company (MD, VA, DC, PA, FL, NC and UT) and we will reduce the per loan fee to $250 on a refinance and $0 on a purchase!

Start-up Costs

In order to get started with us and obtain your independently managed branch of MortgageStar you will need the following:

A MortgageStar website customized for you and your loan officers - $250 yearly.

State branch license fees for your home state and any other states (where required) you wish to originate in. Other states may be added anytime.

MortgageStar does not charge our branches for items MortgageStar’s retail branches are required to have, such as, state bonds, FHA audits or state registration fees – these are given to your branch for free.
