Workflow - Retail Branch Loan Officer

As a retail branch loan officer you work from our branch location to originate residential mortgage loans. You may originate; purchase, refinance, debt-consolidation or 2nd mortgages. Loans may be Conventional, Jumbo, Government or Alt-A (sub-prime).

Working under the guidance of the Branch Manager, you will develop a marketing plan to originate residential loans. You will have unlimited access to MortgageStar's ad slicks, product flyers and handouts.

Once you complete a 1003 application, have signed disclosures (using iDocs) and stips you will package the file and forward it to MortgageStar's corporate headquarters in Bethesda, MD. Once we receive the file we will review it and note any additional stip requirements on-line. Once we receive the appraisal we will complete final underwriting of the file and schedule the loan to close. Our average close time from receipt of the file is 7 days. No one is faster or better than MortgageStar!
